Another great Christmas in July held at the Quindanning Hotel. The weather was very kind with bright sunshine all all day although the tempreture was a little on the cool side. The country side is looking equisite at the momemnt with green and water everywhere you look.

The number of fires in the hotel helped with warming the atmosphere and all seemed to have an enjoyable time. All the photo's are below.

The Christmas in July venue for 2018 will be the Quindanning Hotel.

When, Sunday July 8th for lunch.

You may choose to ride or drive on the Sunday, an organised ride led by Josef G will take place leaving at our normal departure time on the Sunday.

We will need to finalise attendances as soon as possible so please contact Richard B and advise your numbers. Payment for the two course lunch ($25.00) will be required on the Sunday of the event.

Additionally you may like to spend some extra time so below is a list of what they have available and the room prices. It is surprising how quickly the accommodation fills up, so they would suggest that anyone interested in making a weekend of it call in advance to book the rooms. About our Rides

From 1st of Aug 2018 new start location Rear carpark of Dome in Kelmscott.

Please review the Ride Calendar for Sunday ride start times, if a pre planned ride is not listed for that particular Sunday then the start time will be 9.00am for a decision on the day. Everybody is welcome. We are a very relaxed and friendly group at Armadale.

Below Suggestions for new riders, Also see Branch ride Guides in documents.

One of the biggest risk factors for those new to a group is feeling the need to keep up with faster riders. Stretching your comfort zone by trying to keep up may put you at risk. You should be able to ride near the speed limit (up to 100 -110kph on open roads) but there is no need to keep up if a gap is created; TEC (Tail End Charlie) will not overtake you and the corner markers will wait until TEC comes through, Don’t panic - resist the feeling of being pressured.

Above all, don’t speed trying to catch up!
